Jasmeera Tea came into existence to solve a simple dilemma: tea drinkers had to choose between the rich strength of morning chai and the delicate floral aroma of high-altitude leaves.

How we started & our tasting showroom

Our current generation journey began in 1996 in a modest tasting kitchen, experimenting with small batches of robust CTC Assam leaves and vibrant first-flush Darjeeling green teas. By carefully balancing leaf density and drying temperatures, we created our signature copper-dark brew.

Since it's fresh, first quality and in small packets, 15% less quantity is required for the same cup compared to other well-established brands. We recommend consuming within 2 weeks after you transfer it to an airtight container, because every time you use it, the aroma escapes

The co-founder carefully tastes each blend during ambrosial hours between 3 and 4 AM. Nature's raw, natural, harmonious sounds and soothing, piped music play continuously to transmit positive spiritual energy into every stage of our production process. We also play soft instrumental music at our showroom. This helps keep the mood elevated amongst our team members.

Sanjeevani booti is a legendary life-saving herb from the Ramayana that some scholars believe was actually an early form of wild tea.

Why and how this brand into existence?

Jasmeera is name of my daughter “Jasmeera Kaur”; Kaur in holy Guru Granth Sahib means princess a born Queen… girl you’ll be a woman soon.

All women are born queen, God created feminine power; and its God that has bestowed this special & unique power* on queen to nurture-sustain human race.

Life is like a chess board; queen can make any move unlike other pieces in the life’s chess board.

*Power of feminism is undefined and doesn’t follow conventional masculine logic, rules and regulations. Men should never ever think of or attempt to define, categorize, compartmentalize or impose their thought process on feminism way of thinking-logic. Only feel and appreciate feminism as a life’s vital nurturing force…. In simple words be flexible and cherish the way river of life flows

About by grandmother, Mataji Gajinder Kaur Sood-Bedi (affectionately called Beeji) a mother of 5 kids, was a deeply spiritual woman. It was only she, who sowed the seeds of spirituality in me and initiated me into Sikhism faith (Amrit Chakhna from Panj Pyaras-Initiation to Sikh way of life)

True Incident: Pahar Chor a.k.a Makhan Chor

During my training session at Dehradun (Uttrakhand), few participants from village Dronagiri (also referred to as Dunagiri Parvat; rural high altitude 7066 Metre Himalayan Peak in Chamoli district) shared, why there is no temple dedicated to lord Hanuman Ji in their village. To save Laxman ji, Hanuman ji was confused (all rakshasa-evil forces became Jugunu-firefly glowing insect) and since he couldn’t figure out lifesaving sanjeevani booti/root, he lifted the entire hillock and flew with it to save younger brother of Lord Rama. He was in so much hurry, that he didn’t even looked back and acknowledged locals.

All rural people were happy that life of Laksman ji was saved, however they were angry because Hanumanji never thanked them, pahar choori karke udd gayee (he stole and flew away with their medicinal hillock), so no temple (worship place) dedicated to him. I requested them, please accept apologies and gratitude from my side, my grandmother is Vanshaj/offspring of Lord Rama.

Thereafter I was invited to their rural village, to partake bhandara, community food. I felt the deeply immense connect with myself, positive vibes, aura of all the people and ambience over there. I have no words to explain this experience. I expressed gratitude and bowed in respect to all women and elders (with silent prayers and deep desire to construct Hanumanji Gratitude temple), I thanked all to continue my journey of life.

The thought of infusing green tea with dried flowers, herbs, roots occurred to me at 3 AM in my sleep. I often receive interesting revelations during ambrosial hours (3.30-4.30 AM). I was born at 4 AM at Jorhat-Assam-India. In my younger days, I always cherished start of my day with Lipton Green Label tea and honey.

For me nature always initiate everything with a request, I always enjoy sprouts. Hills and nature always captivate me with their mesmerizing grace and beauty. Initiating the same for dried herbs/flowers with tea hold the magical secret to heal the human race.

P.S. I am also a tea taster and all our teas are first tested and certified by myself, thereafter my family, neighbours, local community; before we launch for market consumption.

1. J is pista green with pink bud Flower----- relates with First Flush (tea plucked in first season). Freshest finest tea. Mostly plucked by Women gardeners, because of dexterity and delicacy in their fingers.

2. This plucking process is done after auspicious rituals. All tea estate families dance, enjoy. Festive spirit

3. For premium green tea, plucking ritual is also done at full moon (usually done over 3-4 days).

4. Ancient Indians followed Lunar calendar, our energies are governed my Moon. Moon helps maintain clarity of thoughts, focused, connect with oneself.

Besides other elements are for suggestion/representation only (Anise flower, cardamom, Laung, Elaichi, Dalchini). Our green tea infusion carries dried flowers and petals

8. All our CTC tea grades carry 5-7% first flush or premium green tea…. Technically long leaf, but broken green tea leaves. (P.S. we do this to add unique flavor, it increases our cost but gives unique aroma. No mass brand is doing this; they add worst/inferior very small broken green)

9. Back Side of Pouch: tea kettle and Tea pot, tea must be brewed and not boiled. Sip it slowly to cherish the taste. Tea drinking is a ritual. Never ever excessively boil tea. add little cream/fat so that spices release aroma, prepare on slow fire. Gradual heat prepration

10. Premium Tea means, 100% Indian origin Assam Darjeeling trackable and first Grade/quality. We buy from government body Tea Board registered tea estate, adhering to strict protocols and process

11. This CTC is currently targeted for Punjab-Haryana-Himachal-Jammu, its medium size Dana. We also have bigger/Mota dana usually preferred by Gujrati Families. This grade is slightly expensive

12. USP: since all our teas are first quality, our internal test and feedback from customer is approx. 15% lesser quantity, no acidity, no blackening of prepared tea 1 to 1.5 hours. We prefer to pack in small packets (individual single unit sale) or 5 packets in one carton. We recommend after opening, use air tight container and consume within 2 weeks, to preserve strength/aroma
